Pacific Transformer Corporation ("Pacific Transformer", "we", "us") operates the RFQ Bot to accept and respond to requests for quote. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Information you submit: contact details (name, company, email, phone), RFQ specifications, uploaded files (drawings, schematics, specs), and messages you send through the bot.
- Basic technical data needed to operate the service, such as session cookies, IP address, and browser information.
How we use it
- To review your request, prepare a quote, and respond to you.
- To keep a record of your RFQ for our internal business records and future reference.
- To contact you by email or phone about your RFQ or related Pacific Transformer business.
Confidentiality
We treat the content of your RFQ — including uploaded files and design details — as confidential. We do not sell it or share it with outside parties for their own use.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers (including AI model providers such as Anthropic) to help operate the RFQ Bot. These providers process your submissions only to deliver the service to us, under confidentiality obligations, and do not use your content to train their models.
Data retention
We retain your RFQ and related correspondence indefinitely as part of our business records, unless you ask us to delete it.
Your California rights
If you are a California resident, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email sales@pactran.com. We will respond within 45 days.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information you submit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The RFQ Bot is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
